Le corps est dissimulé sous des fils perlés et des coquillages, la tête surmontant un cou étiré. Ici, la poupée porte une guirlande de pièces de monnaie autour de la taille, il s’agit de pennies portant l’inscription «British West Africa» datant de 1936.

Ce type de poupée était porté dans le dos par des femmes attendant leur premier enfant, et cela jusqu’à la naissance du bébé.
